Roksi is an automated platform designed for small and micro businesses in rural Cambodia. It offers tailored coaching to help these businesses increase their income, grow sustainably, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Launched on November 8, 2023, Roksi has already made significant strides in empowering entrepreneurs in Cambodia’s rural areas. In this article, we will delve into the workings of Roksi, highlight the stories of its clients, address existing challenges, and shed light on its capacity-building initiatives.
We collaborated with our partner to organize workshops in 6 provinces of Cambodia and conducted a social media campaign to reach out to business owners and individuals who are interested in Roksi.
Here are some key highlights from the first quarter of 2024; 02 jobs were created, 49 businesses & individuals benefited from coaching services, and 360 businesses & individuals engaged with our telegram chatbot.
Ms. Saboeun, a 35-year-old pig farm owner from Ratanakiri province, faced technical challenges and a labor shortage that hindered her dream of expanding her business. After three months with Roksi, she gained valuable insights into internal obstacles and learned to confidently calculate profit margins. Equipped with newfound knowledge, Ms. Saboeun is now taking crucial steps towards expanding her business.
